Elite Consultancy are currently working with a leading brand within the powered access space who are looking for a Transport Planner for their Depot in the East Midlands. The business has national coverage and have gone from strength to strength in recent years.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Organising and scheduling the delivery and collection of powered access equipment, ensuring timely and efficient transport to meet customer requirements. This involves coordinating with drivers, clients, and the operations team.
• Developing optimized routes for deliveries and collections, considering factors like traffic, road restrictions, and fuel efficiency. This minimises travel time and costs while maximising productivity.
• Ensuring all transport operations adhere to health and safety regulations, including vehicle weight limits, driver hours, and load securing procedures. This also involves staying updated on changes in transport laws and regulations.

Although this role sits within the hire sector, we are keen to hear from any seasoned Transport Planners who are looking for their next role.

The role is based on site, Monday-Friday.
