Job Description

Our client, a leading construction plant hire company, is looking for a Construction Logistics Manager to join their dynamic team in Horsham.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate in a team environment to arrange site requirements, including plant preparation, delivery, and personnel allocation, ensuring full compliance.
Liaise with site managers and supervisors to confirm correct plant, staff, and materials are on-site.
Work closely with the Workshop Manager to schedule plant maintenance and servicing, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Ensure compliance of operators, plant, and vehicles with regulations and company standards.
Attend regular meetings with the Operations Director and key team members.
Maintain and update daily planners with site changes and transport schedules.
Support the Logistics Assistant with transport deliveries and ensure sites are ready to commence on agreed start dates.
Learn and utilize the company's health and safety program (Iprotectu) and other IT systems effectively.

The Candidate:

Strong people management and leadership skills.
Experience in logistics, ideally within the construction industry.
A practical, hands-on approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to adapt to changing requirements and remain compliant with industry standards.
