Job Description

Vox Consultants are currently recruiting for a Regional Commerical Manager 

The Regional Commercial Manager ensures effective management of all commercial aspects of project delivery within a region. The role focuses on driving profitability through sustainable growth, aligning with national strategies, and promoting the companies values. 

Key Responsibilities:
1. Reporting & Documentation
  • Produce reports, presentations, and risk assessments.
  • Review monthly CVRs and Forward Work Plans.
  • Ensure accurate stakeholder reporting and budgetary control.
2. Team Leadership
  • Recruit, train, and manage commercial staff.
  • Mentor junior surveyors and support professional growth.
  • Collaborate with branch and regional managers to improve performance.
3. Valuation & Cash Flow
  • Oversee accurate and timely payment applications.
  • Manage cash collection, invoicing, and debtor control.
  • Develop payment schedules to maintain healthy cash flow.
4. Regional Growth
  • Strengthen client relationships to retain and win contracts.
  • Lead on bid submissions and ensure commercial viability.
  • Align regional delivery with national services and strategy.
  • Oversee subcontractor/supplier onboarding and contract terms.
5. Compliance & Assurance
  • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Review commercial deliverables for compliance and accuracy.
6. Commercial Assurance
  • Provide guidance on contract performance and dispute resolution.
  • Assess and mitigate commercial risks in contracts.
  • Ensure commercial staff are trained in internal IT systems.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
  • Strong commercial, financial, and operational expertise.
  • Deep understanding of construction contracts and risk management.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant construction sector academic qualifications.
  • CMI Level 5 in Management & Leadership.
  • Health & Safety and management qualifications desirable.
  • Full UK driving license required.
