Field Service Engineer - Covering North West

Our client are looking for someone to join their team of skilled and professional mobile plant engineers. You’ll be providing their customers with your mechanical expertise when dealing with breakdowns, repairs, maintenance and overhauls of their heavy plant and machinery at customer sites around Manchester.

Working on Construction Equipment such as wheeled loaders, articulated haulers, hydraulic excavators, and utility and road equipment you’ll be identifying mechanical problems and offering guidance and advice to customers. You’ll also be responsible for completing job reports, paper based and online, time sheets and parts ordering.
Experienced working on large heavy plant equipment is requirment for this role. 

Working pattern:
Core hours: Monday to Wednesday 08.00 – 16.30 Thursday 08.00 – 16.00 Fridays 8.00 – 15.30
Overtime: Time and a half on hours outside of core hours Monday to noon Saturday. Double time from noon Saturday to 08.00 Monday

Requirements:

• Must hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance
• Mechanical experience in construction, heavy plant or commercial equipment
• Ability to work without supervision to a high standard
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK without the requirement of sponsorship
