Technical Support Specialist – Heavy Plant
A major dealership specialising in Heavy Plant are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to provide specialised technical support and guidance on a range of Heavy Plant machinery.
 
Role: Technical Support Specialist
Area: Cambridge or Midlands
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + benefits

The requirements of the Technical Support Specialist will be:
  • As Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing aftermarket product quality issues, overseeing technical applications for product lines and assisting in fault diagnosis activities
  • Maintain an efficient technical help desk
  • Compile evidence to drive quality improvements and service fixes
  • Contribute to new product introductions and analysis
  • Conduct site and customer visits for technical support
The ideal candidate for Technical Support Specialist will be:
  • Hold a recognised Apprenticeship NVQ 3 or equivalent in Construction Equipment or an Engineering based field
  • Experience in a similar technical role in the heavy plant industry
  • Technical engineering background and high levels of knowledge within the Construction Industry.  
  • Excellent communicator at all levels
  • Have good computer literacy
