Job Description

Pertemps is recruiting experienced and reliable 7.5T Delivery Drivers on behalf of Royal Mail in Edinburgh. Join a respected national employer and play an important role transporting mail and parcels across your local community.
Your Role

Drive a 7.5-tonne Royal Mail vehicle safely and responsibly on assigned routes.
Load and unload mail and parcels efficiently.
Deliver mail and parcels to distribution points and local delivery teams.
Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Provide excellent customer service and represent Royal Mail professionally.

Requirements

Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points.
Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential.
Good knowledge of Bristol and surrounding areas.
Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.
You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.

Other Information:

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00.
Pay Rate: £15.95
