**Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible – includes some evenings & occasional weekends)
Salary: PAYE: £14.36+ per hour | Umbrella: £18.80 per hour

The Team
Busy, supportive 16+ / Leaving Care Team working with care leavers, looked-after young people aged 16–25 and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC).
This is hands-on, direct work – helping young people move towards independence, managing crisis, pathway planning, personal advisor tasks and cultural/language-sensitive support for UASC.

Day-to-day you’ll be

• Carrying out needs assessments & pathway plans
• Direct 1-1 support, life-skills sessions, appointments, crisis intervention
• Transporting young people (pool cars available)
• Recording on WCCIS, contributing to reviews & court reports
• Working alongside social workers, foster carers, housing & education

You must have

• Level 2 Health & Social Care/Children & Young People (or equivalent)
• Proven experience working with care-experienced teenagers/young adults or UASC
• Confident carrying out assessments & direct work in crisis situations
• Full UK driving licence + own car (business insurance required – mileage paid)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply immediately)
