The Role
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Shrewsbury from January 2026. This full-time, long-term supply role involves teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that support both academic progress and practical scientific understanding.
You will take full responsibility for planning, teaching, assessment, and classroom management, working closely with a supportive Science department focused on raising attainment and student confidence.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a motivated Science specialist who can engage learners of all abilities. You should be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Confident teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
- Comfortable delivering practical experiments and theory-based lessons
- Able to maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
- Organised, reliable, and committed to student progress
