The Role
A Good-rated secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to start ASAP. This supply role offers the opportunity to teach Religious Studies from KS3 to KS5, alongside KS3 Geography and History, contributing to a dynamic and supportive Humanities department.
You’ll deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that encourage students to think critically, explore global perspectives, and develop strong analytical skills. The role suits teachers who enjoy variety and are confident moving between subjects within the Humanities curriculum.
The Candidate
We’re looking for a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and adaptable educator who can inspire students across the Humanities subjects. You should be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (ECTs warmly encouraged to apply)
- Confident teaching RS up to KS5 and Geography/History at KS3
- Skilled at delivering discussion-led, inclusive, and engaging lessons
- Organised, resilient, and capable of managing behaviour effectively
- Passionate about helping students reach their full academic potential
