The Role
A thriving secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking an inspiring English Teacher to join their team from November 2025. This long-term assignment involves teaching English across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop strong literacy skills and a genuine appreciation for language and literature.
You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, assessing progress, and supporting students to achieve their best in upcoming exams. The school offers a welcoming environment where teachers are supported to deliver creative and challenging lessons that make a real impact.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and reflective English specialist who brings creativity and structure to their teaching. You should be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs welcome)
- Confident teaching English across KS3 and KS4
- Enthusiastic about fostering a love for reading and writing
- Organised, adaptable, and committed to raising achievement
- Able to engage and motivate learners of all abilities
