History Teacher – Birmingham – September 2025 Start
 
A high-performing secondary school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a History Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025. This long-term supply position offers a fantastic opportunity to teach within a supportive and well-organised Humanities department at a school graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role involves full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment. The department is collaborative and forward-thinking, with strong schemes of work and a commitment to high standards.
 
The Candidate
We welcome applications from experienced History Teachers and confident ECTs. You must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have recent experience teaching History in UK secondary schools. Strong classroom management, excellent subject knowledge, and a passion for history are essential. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and able to motivate students of all abilities.
