Site Agent – Highways Project
📍 North Somerset
📅 18-month contract
💼 Freelance / Contract Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major highways infrastructure project in North Somerset. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role on a long-term scheme with approximately 18 months of secured work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing day-to-day site operations on a highways project
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Coordinating subcontractors, site teams, and stakeholders
  • Maintaining programme performance and quality standards
  • Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, and site documentation
  • Liaising with the client, engineers, and project management team
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a Site Agent on highways or civil engineering schemes
  • Strong knowledge of highways specifications and standards
  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS card (Black or Gold preferred)
  • Temporary Works Coordinator (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence
