Durham Secondary School | Start September
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Durham on a part-time, supply basis starting in September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner looking for a flexible role, with the position initially offered for one day per week and likely to continue through to the Easter break.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare, and assess in line with school expectations (proportionate to working pattern)
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Contribute positively to the wider school ethos and department
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level
- Strong classroom management skills
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
- Ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff
