Care Assistant

We are currently seeking a compassionate and approachable individual to join our team as a Care Assistant at a hospitalin Bury St Edmunds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact in a healthcare setting while gaining valuable experience.

Key Details:

• Hours of Work:
  • Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 08:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Clothing Requirements:
  • Black shirt
  • Black trousers
  • Black shoes

Main Responsibilities:

• Serve food and drink to patients in a timely and professional manner
• Clear away trays and utensils after meals
• Provide a friendly, empathetic presence, ensuring patients feel valued and cared for
• Assist with various tasks to maintain a positive environment for patients
• Engage with patients in a personable and approachable manner

Requirements:

• A basic DBS clearance is required
• A personable, compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others
• Strong communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with patients and staff

No interviews will be conducted for this role. Instead, the successful candidate will receive full training by shadowing an experienced staff member on their first day.
