An excellent opportunity is available for a psychology graduate to join a ‘Good’ secondary school in Walsall as an SEN Teaching Assistant. This position offers hands-on experience working with pupils who have additional needs, making it an ideal stepping stone for those pursuing a career in educational psychology or SEN support.
 
In this role, you will provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to KS4 students with autism and ADHD. You will assist in developing personalised learning strategies that address individual needs, helping pupils overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
 
Working closely with teaching staff, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive learning environment. Your understanding of psychology will be key in supporting pupils’ emotional and social development, as well as their academic progress.
