Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Raise and manage purchase orders based on internal demand and system requirements
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times and delivery schedules
  • Support supplier performance tracking and help resolve delivery or quality issues
  • Assist in maintaining accurate data within the MRP/ERP system
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in planning replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking
  • Support pricing reviews and cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with the Buyer or Purchasing Manager
  • Maintain supplier documentation and ensure compliance with internal procedures
 
 
The successful candidate will have:
  • Previous experience in a purchasing, supply chain or procurement role
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong supplier relationships
  • Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (training can be provided)
  • A proactive attitude and genuine interest in developing within procurement
