Level 3 Nursery Assistant

Level 3 Nursery Assistant – Hackney – Immediate Start 
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive early years team in Hackney. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting young children's development, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive skills in a safe and engaging environment. 
 
Pay:  £100.00 - £115.00 per day  
Location: Hackney 
Start Date: November 
Interview Date: ASAP 
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist nursery staff in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. 

• Support children’s social and emotional development, creating a nurturing environment where they feel safe and valued. 

• Provide targeted one-on-one and small group support, helping children develop essential early learning and personal skills. 

• Prepare and organise learning materials, toys, and resources to meet diverse learning needs and developmental stages. 

• Ensure children’s safety, hygiene, and well-being, adhering strictly to health and safety protocols. 

• Work closely with parents and team members to support each child’s growth, providing feedback on progress and development. 

Requirements: 

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or equivalent. 

• Proven experience in an early years or nursery setting, working with children from infancy to preschool age. 

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to support a dynamic, child-centered environment. 

• A genuine passion for early childhood education, with a commitment to fostering a love of learning. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
