About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Economics to join a supportive and high-achieving secondary school in Ilford (IG4), East London. This is a permanent position starting in September 2026, with interviews taking place as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality Economics lessons at KS5 (KS4 desirable depending on timetable)
  • Support students in achieving excellent outcomes in A-Level Economics
  • Develop students’ analytical, critical thinking, and evaluation skills
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
  • A degree in Economics or a related subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Economics education
  • The ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
