The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working with children on a 1-2-1 and small group basis, providing vital interventions and top up sessions. You will also be working with children in lessons to provide any additional academic support required and may also work with children who have additional learning needs. The role of a Graduate Teaching Assistant is focused on raising attainment in literacy and numeracy and building the confidence of pupils. 

The Candidate
This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is considering a career in teaching and looking to gain additional experience before applying for their PGCE. A successful candidate will be able to inspire a love for learning and help children to overcome academic and social barriers that they may face. A positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a track record of academic achievement is essential for this role. The school will provide you with any additional training that is required.
