Job Description
Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher looking to make a difference in a nurturing and supportive special school environment? This welcoming primary special school in East Birmingham is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their committed team, teaching children with a range of needs including Autism, MLD, and complex learning difficulties.
As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, personalised learning experiences tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils. You will work closely with a team of experienced support staff and therapists to ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive both academically and socially. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher with strong communication skills, a flexible approach, and a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
Job Role:
- Teaching a small class of primary-aged pupils with a range of SEND.
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs.
- Working closely with support staff, therapists, and external agencies.
- Creating a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment.
- Contributing to EHCP reviews, progress tracking and wider school development.
- Working in a caring and well-resourced special school with a strong team ethos.
- A highly supportive leadership team that values staff wellbeing and development.
