Job Description
Why teach Science at an Alternative Provision? Could it be the small classes or the reduced planning and marking, or could it be the opportunity to see the impact that your teaching is having on the lives of young people? This supportive Alternative Provision with excellent facilities is looking to add a Science Teacher to a small team of teachers. As a Science Teacher at this school, you will be teaching Science up to GCSE to classes of no more than 12 students. You will also be given the freedom to deliver lessons that are creative and tailored to meet the needs of your students.
This school has very good Lab facilities for an Alternative Provision and provides teaching staff with all the tools that they require to make a positive impact. If you are a Science Teacher looking to make the transition into Alternative Provisions or a science Teacher who already has SEMH experience and is looking for a new challenge, apply now! This role does require a QTS or QTLS Science Teacher.
Job Role:
- Teaching small classes up to GCSE
- Delivering practical sessions in line with H&S guidelines
