We are working with welcoming and supportive mainstream schools in Bexleyheath who are seeking motivated Teaching Assistants to support pupils in their learning and development across the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a real difference in young learners’ lives.
Role Details:

• Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Mainstream)
• Location: Bexleyheath, South East London
• Pay: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent roles

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher with daily lessons and activities
• Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils across the curriculum
• Helping pupils with additional learning needs to access learning
• Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive environment
• Assisting with classroom preparation and general administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (desirable)
• A passion for working with children and supporting their education
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Right to work in the UK
