Occupational Therapist – West London
Rate: £36 per hour
Contract: Temporary
Working Pattern: Hybrid

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated team in West London.
You will be part of the Occupational Therapy Service, managing a clinical caseload of residents with complex and multiple needs including psychological, neurological, emotional, behavioural, social, and age-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake complex assessments and provide expert advice on all aspects of daily living.
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred interventions in accordance with key legislation, including:
    • The Care Act 2014
    • The Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986
    • The Children Act 1989
    • The NHS and Community Care Act 1990
    • The Disability Discrimination Act 1995
    • The Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996
  • Provide mentoring and leadership to unqualified staff within the Complex Occupational Therapy Team.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote independence and improve quality of life for service users.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current HCPC registration.
  • Proven experience working with complex cases in adult or community settings.
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and mentoring skills.
