Occupational Therapist – Enfield Council
Location: Enfield, London
Hourly Rate: £35.38
Hours: 35 per week
Contract: Temporary
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Enfield Council for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Care team.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist with strong moving and handling skills to undertake double-handed care reviews. The successful candidate will assess and review existing care packages with the aim of right-sizing care where appropriate and promoting independence for service users.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out detailed moving and handling assessments for adults receiving double-handed care.
Review existing care packages and make recommendations to optimise support and resources.
Promote independence and person-centred care through equipment provision, adaptations, or reablement approaches.
Work collaboratively with care providers, social workers, and partner agencies.
Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with council procedures and professional standards.

Requirements:

Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration.
Proven experience in manual handling and completing double-handed care reviews.
Strong understanding of Adult Social Care legislation and strength-based practice.
Excellent assessment, communication, and time management skills.
