Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced SEND EHC Coordinator to join Hertfordshire’s SEND team. This role is all about ensuring children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) receive the right support, with a strong focus on preparing for adulthood from the earliest ages.

Key responsibilities:
✨ Develop and maintain Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans, ensuring high standards of achievement and inclusion.
✨ Deliver effective and timely casework, in line with council policy and budget frameworks.
✨ Work closely with families, education providers, and professionals to secure the best possible outcomes for children and young people with SEN.
✨ Support and guide families through complex systems, ensuring they feel informed and supported.

Person specification – what we’re looking for:
✔ Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent).
✔ Strong knowledge and experience of SEND.
✔ Previous experience working within complex systems and processes (ideally within children’s services or education).
✔ Experience of working directly with families and young people.
✔ Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
