Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of Liverpool City Council for an experienced Specialist Housing Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care team on a locum basis.
This role focuses on supporting residents with disabilities to live independently through tailored assessments, equipment provision, and housing adaptations. 🛠 Key Responsibilities:

• Complete strength-based assessments under the Care Act 2014 and relevant legislation
• Partner with individuals with disabilities and their carers, ensuring their voices are central to support planning
• Recommend and arrange equipment and structural adaptations to promote independence and well-being
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, community resources, and other professionals to deliver integrated support
• Manage a varied caseload within Adult Social Care priorities and council policies
• Engage in ongoing professional development in line with Allied Health Professional Council requirements

✅ Requirements:

• Qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with HCPC
• Experience working within adult social care and housing adaptations
• Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation including the Care Act 2014
• Excellent communication, assessment, and caseload management skills
