  • Contract: Long-term, until the end of the academic year
  • Pay Rate: £100 - £130 per day (depending on experience)
Are you passionate about helping young people thrive? We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our secondary school in Tower Hamlets, where you’ll play a key role in supporting students with behavioural challenges and helping them reach their full potential. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in education, youth work, or counselling who are eager to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and small group mentoring to students facing behavioural challenges
  • Work closely with teachers and the pastoral team to develop and implement behaviour support plans
  • Help students understand and manage their emotions, promoting positive behavioural growth
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers, parents, and school leadership
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment that enables all students to succeed
  • Assist in removing barriers to learning and improving overall school attendance
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport
  • A calm, patient, and professional approach, especially in challenging situations
  • A genuine commitment to supporting young people and helping them succeed
  • Familiarity with behaviour management strategies (desirable)
  • Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
