Electrical Estimator

Location: London or Essex (Hybrid Working Available) Salary: £50,000 – £75,000 + Optional Overtime + Benefits Annual Leave: 20 Days + Bank Holidays Working Hours: 8am – 5pm


About the Company


My client is a specialist electrical contractor with a strong footprint across London and Essex, specialising in commercial office fit-outs. With project values ranging from £500 to £3 million—and a sweet spot between £100k and £800k—this £15M turnover business is growing fast and looking for a skilled Electrical Estimator to help drive success across multiple tenders.


Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documentation and technical drawings
• Develop base electrical designs to support accurate quoting
• Participate in tender negotiations and client meetings
• Conduct site surveys to gather project-specific data
• Organise and maintain quote folders and documentation
• Produce detailed estimates and cost plans across multiple projects
• Deliver comprehensive handovers to project teams
• Identify risks and opportunities to enhance project outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems
• Proven experience in Design & Build electrical estimating
• Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
