Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Long-Term & Day-to-Day Supply
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
The Education Network is currently recruiting enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants to work across a variety of primary and secondary schools in the Bradford area.
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people, particularly those who require additional learning support to reach their full potential.
About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and report on student progress
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have previous experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
  • Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting learning and development
  • Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) – desirable but not essential
