Postal Worker (including Driving)

Pertemps is delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting multi-drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers in the Chorley area!

Location: Royal Mail Chorley Delivery Office, East Business Centre, Chorley, PR6 0UU
Start: ASAP
Pay rate: £13.37 per hour
Working hours: Sunday ONLY, 11am – 7pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Start your day at the local delivery office, sorting and collecting post/parcels for delivery.
• Use a handheld device to capture customer signatures and assist with routing.
• Deliver letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle, walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Carry a delivery bag (up to 16kg) and transport parcels (up to 20kg).

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Valid UK driving license (max 6 points, clean license preferred).
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong time management, organisational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
