Location: Skelmersdale, WN8 8DY
Hourly rate: £13.21 p/h
Hours of work:  Mon-Fri 14.00-22.00, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: These roles are full time on-going positions and may lead to permanency for the right candidates.

Start date: ASAP

Must have a valid RTITB/ITSAAR Licence.

 

A well established National Logistics Supply Chain is currently experiencing growth and seeking a number of experienced Reach drivers. There are a number of contracts operating from this location therefore you would be working within a very fast paced warehouse environment and previous experience is essential.

 

Your duties will include:

• Operating Reach Trucks to move, stack, and retrieve pallets at height within warehouse racking.
• Ensuring correct placement of goods in designated storage areas.
• Maintaining accurate stock records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Conducting daily equipment checks and adhering to health & safety regulations.
• Picking pallets from high racking.
• Other warehouse duties which may include manual handling, pallet wrapping, and housekeeping to maintain a clean workspace.

 

An ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Must have recent previous experience operating FLT Reach trucks. A minimum of 1 year.
• Must have current and valid RTITB or ITSAAR accredited certificate. In-house documents will not be accepted.
• Must have a “can do” attitude and good attention to detail.
• Ideally has used RDT's.
• All operators will have to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to their assessment.
