HR Systems Manager- Temp 5 months - £29.00 per hour PAYE - London/Hybrid

Healthcare membership organisation and trade union is seeking an experienced HR Systems Manager to support their People & OD team.

This is a temporary role to start ASAP for an initial 5-month period and will pay £29.00 per hour PAYE.

The role is hybrid working 2-3 days at their Central London offices.

The HR Systems Manager will ensure that the department’s systems are effective, fit for purpose and user friendly, and support the People & OD Department’s overall delivery of services to managers and staff across the organisation. The HR Systems Manager will be responsible for the full end-to-end development, integration and maintenance of the People & OD Department’s HR and payroll information system, working in conjunction with the software suppliers and the internal IT team, for the benefit of users.

The ideal HR Systems Manager will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Advanced technical knowledge of HR and payroll systems, in particular iTrent
  • Excellent working knowledge of data protection legislation and principles in relation to employee, worker and job applicant data
  • Generalist HR knowledge, particularly in the areas of contemporary employment policy, recruitment and selection, and reward practice
  • A working knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Project management training and/or qualification
  • CIPD qualification in human resources management.
  • Developing and introducing system and process improvements
  • Managing project teams or supervising colleagues, including setting clear expectations and delivering feedback.
  • Working with stakeholders across departments and teams to successfully deliver business objectives
  • Communicating with and training others on systems and processes
  • HR and payroll systems management in a large complex organisation
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in HR and payroll systems, learning management systems and other HR-related software applications
  • Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams to an intermediate level, with advanced Excel and Power BI skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the UK; and undertake occasional evening work and overnight stays
