They are looking to strengthen their sales within engineering and are seeking a dynamic and innovative Commercial Sales Engineering Manager with a strong entrepreneurial mindset to join our team.
 
This role combines technical expertise with strategic business acumen to drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer solutions. As a key leader, you will collaborate closely with design engineers to ensure our solutions meet and exceed customer expectations in the competitive market landscape.
 
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
  • Lead and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies aligned with company goals.
 
Technical Expertise:
  • Provide technical leadership and support throughout the sales process.
  • Present design simulation, layouts, concepts and lead technical consultations to prospects and clients.
 
Customer Engagement:
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Understand their business needs and propose tailored solutions that leverage our companies’
 
Market Insight:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
 
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including application engineering and product development.
  • Collaborate on product enhancements, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
 
Training and Development:
  • You will initially work alongside the current sales team to understand the collaborative sales approach and relationships with key accounts ensuring a smooth transition and deep understanding of our core values.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or related roles within the advanced engineering and technology sector.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Results-driven with a focus on exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
