Pertemps are excited to be working in partnership with Kuehne and Nagel who have opportunities for Transport planners with customs, European freight or freight forwarding experience due to several new contract wins. Based at East Midlands Gateway you will play a pivotal role in supporting the new contracts success and enjoy career progression opportunities. 
 
Working Hours / Shift Pattern
+ Monday to Friday
+ 9am to 5:30 pm with a 1 hour lunch break
 
The successful Transport Planner will have:
+ Have previous planning experience within European freight, customs and freight forwarding
+ Experience on computer based planning systems
+ Comfortable communicating to customers including face to face
 
Your duties as a Transport Planner will include:
+ Planning drivers routes to, from and around the UK
+ Ensuring paperwork is compliant for correct POD sign offs
+ Coordinate between different departments to ensure multi site communication for customer success
+ Manage ad hoc requests and adjustments  
+ Liaise with the customer and manage expectations
 
You will receive:
+ A starting salary between £28,000 to £34,000
+ Increases based yearly on your individual reviews
