Job Title: Production Operative (Thermostat Assembly)
Location: New House Industrial, near Eurocentral, Holy Town, Motherwell, ML1 5SB
Contract Type: Temporary (until March 2025, with potential for extension)
Shifts: Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:15 PM | Friday: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour (first 6 weeks), £11.82 per hour (after 6 weeks)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Operative to join our manufacturing team at our facility in New House Industrial, Motherwell. This role will involve the assembly of thermostats, quality checking of components, and packing products into boxes. This is a temporary position with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Assemble thermostat components according to standard procedures.
Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet required standards.
Pack finished thermostats into boxes for shipment or further processing.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a production or assembly environment is desirable but not essential.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions carefully.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
Must be punctual and reliable.
Flexible and adaptable to changing production demands.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:15 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Pay:
Starting rate of £11.44 per hour for the first 6 weeks.
Rate will increase to £11.82 per hour after successful completion of the initial 6 weeks.
