Machine Operator

Location: Kidderminster

Hours: 4 on 4 off / 06:00 – 18:00 & 18:00 – 06:00 (Rotating Days & Nights)

Pay: From £15.16 - £22.74 per hour

Contract: Temporary To Permanent  



Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator on behalf of our client based in Kidderminster. This role has the opportunity for a Permanent contract at the end of a successful trial period. Previous experience as a Machine Operator is required. Candidates must have their own transport due to location of this role.



The Duties of a Machine Operator:

• Set up and operate production machinery according to specifications

• Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality and efficiency

• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting

• Record production data and report issues or inconsistencies

• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets

The Requirements of a Machine Operator:

• Previous experience operating machinery

• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to follow safety procedures and technical instructions

• Ability to stand, lift, and move materials during shifts

• Occasional weekend work required due to shift pattern

• Must drive and have own transport
