We are currently recruiting a SEMD (Security & Emergency Measures Direction) Training & Engagement Lead to work full-time out of our Kemble Court, Reading site.
You will be travelling to all Thames Water sites, delivering local security measures training and related improvements through engagement with site-based employees.

Within this role, it will be your role to deliver engagement, learning and improvement activities which enable SEMD-focused teams to deliver against regulatory obligations and support the change in culture required for TW relating to Protective Security measures and adherence.

  • Create and deliver training materials and sessions for the provision of localised, focused learning and development to core SEMD-focused teams to enable swift response and remedy to risks, issues and incidents occurring in these areas, to both planned/known considerations.
  • Delivery of continuous improvement activities and initiatives to learn and adapt our approach, processes, policies and procedures as needed to maintain and build our compliance to SEMD regulations and associated deliverables.
  • Responsible for the provision of reporting to the SEMD Engagement, Learning and Improvement Manager to share progress, learning and adherence to required action plan deliverables and to aid confidence in a change of culture across SEMD and Protective Security measures.
