Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior FP&A Change Management Specialist to lead on the business transformation activities under TAP20 across the Finance function. This will be for a 10-12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Reporting to the FP&A Programme Lead, Project Leads and FP&A teams, this role will drive change management for the Finance workstream, defining, designing and executing the strategic engagement and interventions across a diverse stakeholder base.

The programme sits across a number of transformational sub-initiatives, including the implementation of a new financial planning system, as well as improvement to existing processes and system capabilities, and identifying and delivering business-wide training and development to improve budget accountability across the organisation.

This role supports the foundational capabilities of Thames Water as part of the Turnaround Plan.

What you will be doing as Senior FP&A Change Manager
Alignment
  • Analyse and address organisational, cultural, and behavioural impacts of change initiatives
  • Align Finance leaders to a common vision, goals, priorities, and desired change outcomes
Engagement
  • Define communication and engagement tactics, channels, and forums most effective for Finance teams
Readiness
  • Define the business readiness criteria for each of the core transformation activities, assess against this and identify blockers for resolution pre go live
  • For system implementation - mobilise super users/champions to participate in UAT / parallel run to build confidence pre go live
  • Delivery of end-user training to necessary teams for maximum adoption of change activities
Adoption
  • Define key metrics to measure, track and report adoption of the different change activities to identify success
  • Collect lessons learned for future continuous improvement
What you should bring to the role
  • Demonstrated expertise in applying multiple change management methodologies, including agile change management and system implementation change and culture change
  • Proven ability to align change management plans with organisational strategies and measure impact using advanced KPIs
  • In-depth experience in leading and delivering change management initiatives within a large Finance Function
  • Proven background in developing and delivering structured and reusable change communications - including face-to-face and remote delivery, for varying audiences (team huddle to department meeting), using presentations, FAQS and company communication channels
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of building partnerships at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise multiple initiatives, perform complex tasks, organise and follow through consistently and work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • SAP Analytics Cloud implementation exposure is highly preferred

  • Competitive salary £70,000 -  £75,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
