Job Description
What you’ll be doing as a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager
- Working with the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Leadership Team to develop corporate strategies and deliver Health, Safety and Wellbeing initiatives.
- Managing corporate risks.
- Preparing and reporting performance data.
- Managing a team of Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisors to ensure that they deliver a high level of performance.
- Mentoring and developing team members.
- Providing support, advice and/or signposting for all matters relating to HSW.
- Overseeing incident reviews for significant safety reports.
- Undertaking site inspections.
- Management of contractors.
Working Pattern: 36 Hours
What you should bring to the role
- Passion for Health, Safety, and Wellbeing, leading by example.
- Knowledge of related industries (utilities, infrastructure, or construction) is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage senior leaders.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and proactive.
- NEBOSH / NCRQ Diploma and Chartered IOSH membership.
- Full UK driving license.
- Competitive salary up to £69,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays).
