Job Description
What you’ll be doing as an Operations Contracts Manager
- Supplier relationships - To create, manage and sustain appropriate supplier relationships across a portfolio of agreements /contracts to ensure services are delivered in line with business needs and objectives.
- Supplier performance - Manage the performance of suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements and business operational needs, to ensure best value and services from suppliers are achieved.
- Stakeholder management - Work collaboratively and develop strong working relationships with internal and external parties, at all levels of the business.
- Commercial - Identify and implement opportunities / improvements for commercial efficiencies across operational activities and contracts. Lead on contract negotiations and implement contract variations as required. Provide contract-related issue resolution to any disputes arising with suppliers.
- Contract Lifecycle - Complete contract close-outs, review contracts for extension or renewal, and assist procurement teams where applicable for re-procurement. Assist procurement teams in developing contract documentation for new tenders e.g. KPIs, commercial schedules.
- Audit - Ensure that all processes are followed in line with legislation and company policies/procedures.
- Have previous experience of managing a portfolio of Operational Contracts.
- Demonstrate managing contracts with the view of driving value for money.
- Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- A strong technical understanding of commercial and contract management.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Salary between £41,000 to £50,000 per annum depending on experience and skills.
- 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
