Job Description

Are you an experienced FP& A Analyst looking to embark on a rewarding career path? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to be responsible for supporting annual planning, forecasting, reporting and analytics. You will play an integral part in providing advice, guidance and subject matter expertise on all financial reporting matters, preparing monthly financial reports for Senior Leadership and Executives.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing reporting and insight, business partnering to drive added value with your operational stakeholders’.
This role supports the Strategic Planning and Engineering business unit, which sits within our Asset Operations and Capital Delivery division.

What you will be doing as FP&A Analyst
  • Support the Totex annual budgeting, reporting Integrated Business Plan and quarterly forecasting for each respective Business Unit/Directorate including impact of cashflow performance and risks and opportunities.
  • Provide the high-quality financial information that the business requires to operate effectively and efficiently, including leading and lagging levers, cost drivers and trend analysis.
  • Support in specific aspects of the financial reporting cycle with a critical evaluation lens applied.
  • Develop and implement analytical standards for reporting and modelling KPIs with a view to automation.
  • As a key financial liaison, partner with the various departments across Finance and the business to deliver End to End process efficiencies and improved financial awareness.
What you should bring to the role?
Essential
  • Excellent knowledge of providing financial insight, preparing annual plans and forecasts.
  •  Strong analytical and forecasting abilities.
  • Highly effective communication skills (listening and presenting ideas).
  • Collaborative work style but also take ownership to complete tasks independently.
  • Previous experience in an FP& A role
  • Strong excel skillset required; solid modelling and / or database skills preferable.
  • Experience with planning systems and reporting technology.
Desirable
  • Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, CHAE or equivalent) preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP and HFM (or similar tool)
