Sheridan Maine is partnering with a growing accountancy practice in London to recruit a US/UK Tax Assistant Manager. The Role
The US/UK Tax Assistant Manager will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with US and UK tax requirements, reviewing junior staff work, and building strong client relationships. You will also support senior team members with technical issues and engagement management.

The US/UK Tax Assistant Manager will be responsible for:
  • Managing a client portfolio to ensure timely and accurate US and UK tax compliance.
  • Reviewing tax returns and the work of junior team members.
  • Liaising with clients and identifying opportunities for business development.
  • Highlighting potential risks and technical matters to senior team members.
  • Supporting engagement management, including budgets and timelines.

The successful US/UK Tax Assistant Manager will possess:
  • 4+ years’ experience in US/UK private client tax, preferably with HNW clients.
  • ATT qualified and Enrolled Agent (EA).
  • Experience with CCH Axcess, CCH Prosystem, or similar US tax software.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and work in a team.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
