The Client

My client is a well-established, mid-sized accountancy practice based in Eastbourne, offering a range of audit, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities as the Semi Senior Accountant will include:

• All areas of practice work for a range of personal tax and business clients.
• Assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients to deliver a high-quality Service.
• Preparing and reviewing sole trader accounts, personal tax returns, company accounts and corporation tax returns.
• VAT advice and compliance services.
• Coach, train and develop junior staff to improve and further their knowledge.
• Undertake wider practice activities, as required.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with both clients and colleagues.

To be considered for the position of Semi Senior Accountant, you will require the following:

• An AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification.
• Experience of accounts preparation in an accountancy practice.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Problem solver with investigative nature.
