- Champion health & safety: Lead with a safety-first mindset, including conducting H&S audits.
- Financial oversight: Provide up-to-date financial reports on project costs, accruals, and forecasts.
- Governance and compliance: Follow strict governance processes, ensuring project milestones are met.
What you should bring to the role:
- Problem-solving mindset: You’ll break down complex issues into manageable solutions with an analytical approach.
- Commercial savvy: You understand how to enhance profitability while keeping a close eye on the bottom line.
- Utilities Sector Experience: Proven experience in managing large-scale projects within the water, wastewater, or broader utilities sector, with a strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Leadership excellence: You inspire and unify diverse teams, influencing others to meet and exceed project goals.
- Big-picture thinking: You can see beyond the project at hand, making strategic decisions that benefit both the project and future innovations.
- Risk management expertise: You’ll proactively identify potential risks and create action plans to mitigate them.
- Innovative thinking: You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo, continuously seeking ways to add value for the customer and the business.
