Job Description
This is a fast-paced position with consistently high call volumes. It suits someone who enjoys staying busy, managing multiple enquiries, and delivering a high standard of service under pressure.
The role
You’ll manage customer enquiries via phone and email, ensuring service level agreements are met and each issue is followed through to resolution. You’ll provide clear updates, accurate information, and a professional customer experience from first contact to close.
Key responsibilities
- Handling a high volume of inbound calls and emails
- Responding to emails within one hour
- Accurately logging customer and equipment details
- Coordinating engineer attendance in line with SLAs
- Making follow-up calls to keep customers informed
- Managing complaints and resolving issues where possible
- Passing sales enquiries to the relevant teams
- Supporting the wider business with ad-hoc tasks
- Strong call handling and response times
- Effective complaint resolution
- Consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations
- Previous customer service or call centre experience
- Confidence working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- A calm, professional telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear communication with customers and colleagues
- Comfortable using IT systems and databases
