Salary: £37,500 – £38,500 (DOE)
Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 16:30
• Every second Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00

🔧 Role Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced and flexible HGV Class 2 Relief Driver with a valid HIAB license to join a busy builders merchants branch in Central North London. As a relief driver, you’ll play a vital role covering multiple routes and supporting branches as needed, ensuring safe deliveries and top-notch customer service.

📦 Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver building materials safely and in line with road safety legislation
• Operate the HIAB crane confidently and safely for loading/unloading
• Provide an outstanding, customer-focused delivery experience
• Prevent product and vehicle damage through careful handling
• Build rapport with customers and represent the company professionally
• Promptly report any health and safety concerns or issues

✅ Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
• HIAB Licence (essential)
• Previous experience in the builders merchants industry or a similar field
• Friendly and professional with excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail and excellent time management
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and calm under pressure
• Eager to learn more about the company’s products and processes
