Job Description: Loading Bay Operative

We are seeking experienced loading bay operatives to work with our client based in Robertsbridge.

Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 07:00 to 17:00
Pay: From £13.50 per hour

The Role:
As an experienced warehouse operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely and efficiently loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles.
• Ensuring the correct placement of goods in the loading bay and securing loads in the vehicles.
• Conducting inventory checks and reporting any discrepancies.
• Assisting with maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a hands-on environment, value teamwork, and are detail-oriented. Full training will be provided.

• Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including heavy lifting.
• Good communication skills and teamwork-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and tasks.
• Flexibility to adapt to various roles and responsibilities within the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• A good attitude to work.
• Comfortable working in a noisy environment.
• Due to our client's location, candidates will need to have access to a vehicle as the site is not accessible by public transport.
