Night Shunter HGV (C+E)

We are on the lookout for a proficient HGV C+E Driver to join our team as a Night Shunter. This role entails the secure and efficient manoeuvring and placement of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) within a specified area.

Job Title: HGV C+E Night Shunter
Salary: £47,500 pa
Location: Robertsbridge (East Sussex)
Shift: Nights 17:00 to 05:00

This is an ongoing temporary position, with the option of Temp to Perm for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities:

• Safely move and position HGVs within the site.
• Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
• Complete safety assessments and inspections of vehicles.
• Couple and uncouple trailers as required.
• Liaise with warehouse and transport managers to ensure smooth operations.
• Efficiently shunt HGVs to facilitate loading, unloading, and parking operations.

Requirements:

• HGV C+E licence with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• No more than six points on your licence for minor endorsements.
• Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards.
