Job Description

Quality & Curriculum Administrator
Apprenticeship Training Provider
Location: Hybrid – 1–2 days per week in the office (West Midlands or Oxfordshire)
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays

About the Role

We are working with a well‑established apprenticeship training provider, rated Good by Ofsted, who are looking to appoint a Quality & Curriculum Administrator to support their growing team.
This is a key role behind the scenes, ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail‑focused and interested in education, apprenticeships and quality. You’ll play an important part in ensuring apprenticeship programmes are well‑structured, compliant and inspection‑ready, while supporting a positive experience for learners and employers.

Purpose of the Role

The Quality & Curriculum Administrator provides essential support across curriculum delivery, quality assurance and compliance. Your work will help tutors, coaches and managers focus on what they do best — delivering high‑quality training and supporting learner success.
This role is central to meeting Ofsted, ESFA and awarding body requirements, while maintaining high standards and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

Curriculum Support
  • Maintain and update curriculum documentation, including:
    • Schemes of work
    • Curriculum plans and sequencing
    • Mapping to Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours (KSBs)
    • End Point Assessment (EPA) requirements
  • Support updates to curriculum content following changes to standards, employer feedback or quality improvement actions
  • Ensure learning resources are well organised, version‑controlled and accessible via the LMS or shared systems
Quality & Compliance Support
  • Provide administrative support for Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activity, including:
    • Sampling records
    • Standardisation meetings and notes
    • Tracking actions and outcomes
  • Maintain records of teaching observations, feedback, development actions and staff CPD
  • Monitor completion of quality actions and flag any issues where needed
Learner Data & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate learner records on MIS and e‑portfolio systems (e.g. OneFile, Smart Assessor, Aptem)
  • Support reporting on learner progress, achievement, timely completions and EPA readiness
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure records are always audit‑ready
Ofsted & Inspection Readiness
  • Support preparation for Ofsted inspections by collating evidence and maintaining organised documentation
  • Assist with updates to the Self‑Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
  • Ensure documentation is consistently inspection‑ready
Team & Systems Support
  • Act as a point of contact for curriculum and quality documentation
  • Coordinate meetings related to curriculum, quality and compliance
  • Support effective use of LMS, e‑portfolio and quality tracking systems
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and ways of working
About You
You don’t need to be a tutor — but you do need to be someone who is:
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with data, systems and documentation
  • Holds previous experience in a Curriculum and Quality support function
  • Confident communicating clearly and professionally
  • Knowledge of Apprenticeships and Ofsted Inspection criteria would be highly desirable
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Interested in education, apprenticeships or quality assurance
Why Join?
  • Hybrid working with flexibility
  • Supportive, quality‑focused organisation
  • Opportunity to build a career in quality, curriculum or apprenticeships
  • Role with real impact on learner experience and outcomes
This position will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and employment references.
