Job Title: Senior Environmental Consultant

Location: Perth or Glasgow, Scotland (Hybrid working available)

Salary: £35,200 - £45,100

HSE Recruitment Network are recruiting for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join a forward-thinking, passionate consultancy specialising in the ecology, hydrology and environmental engineering.
 
The role will be focused on overseeing on-site environmental compliance and ecological protection during construction.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare and contribute to construction phase environmental documentation
• Ensure on-site compliance with Site-Specific Environmental Management Plans and related method statements, working closely with the client
• Conduct site inspections for protected and priority species
• Investigate, document, and report ecological incidents as they arise
• Monitor and advise on pollution prevention strategies
• Mentor and provide training to junior team members
• Complete and occasionally review Environmental Clerk of Works (ECoW) logs and site reports
  

 
Essential Experience, Training and Qualifications:

• Two to five years’ experience as an ecological/environmental consultant with construction site-based roles on a variety of different projects
• An understanding of water environment regulations, relevant guidance and environmental legislation 
• Higher Education Certificate, or Degree equivalent in an environmental subject area
• CSCS card
